Dark Glass

Dark glass reflections of tail lights and red tipped wings
Raindrops hammer pulse against the glass,
A heartbeat of sorts,
Rippling the lights as she stands,
Nose to glass,
Willing the world to stop,
To allow her to board
A plane to anywhere.
Chilled glass warms beneath her breath
Tears magnify the raindrops,
As she feels the world pass her by.
