I can't understand the coldness
the icy grey pallor in your eyes
I can't understand the flatness
the simmering anger in your voice
I can't understand the aggressiveness
the taut tension in your fists
I can't understand the fearfulness
the heartbreaking sadness in my heart
as I press my face into the wall
in order not to see your fists fall.
