Disconnected.

Long ago, it was
you hang up first
no
you
hang
up
no
you

hours of words, thoughts and dreams expressed
shyly, with passion and conviction

now -
it is less
it is more
silence
disjointed
disconnected
less passion

the telephone line is now invisible
the line that joins is invisible
and it is fraying
the connection
between
you
hung
up.
