On being a finalist and channelling Fay R!

I received an email this morning saying that my submission to a local poetry competition has made it to the finals. *happy dance*

Then I read that the finalists are reading their poems.

This Friday!

Out loud.

In public.

In front of an audience.

In front of t
he director of the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University Wellington, Bill Manhire (CNZM).

I'm not intimidated at all.
I'll channel my friend Fay R and be a kickass performance poet! (It's too late to get her a plane ticket and fly her here!)

Fingers crossed y'all!
