The Gruffalo!

This morning we went to The Gruffalo. It was the best $60 I have spent in ages.

It follows the story as it is in the book and includes musical numbers and great characterisation.

Monkey was enthralled in the live action and loved it. He was drawn into the story and by the end of it he looked like he was mesmerised. He even yelled at the Gruffalo when he came to stand in front of us.

Stud1 was laughing louder than anyone else at the little "adult" jokes and I was just blown away by the whole experience.

The theatre was full of under sixes and tag along adults. The atmosphere was magic and at times tense. The actors were really connected to the audience and seemed like they were loving the presenting the show as much as we enjoyed watching it!

What fun! I can't wait until the next time we go to the theatre.
