Misinformation Monday

I have been thinking along the lines of making a pledge to do twenty one weeks (or more) of misinformation. I want to be able to creatively answer questions that children ask... I would love for you to link up and join me in warping their minds - ever so slightly.

Here are the 21 Questions (or more):

  1. How did the dinosaurs die?
  2. Why is the sky blue?
  3. What does the Tooth Fairy do with my tooth?
  4. What is under the bed?
  5. How does rain form?
  6. What is thunder?
  7. How high can you jump?
  8. What do you do for a job?
  9. Why can't I drink coffee?
  10. Where does the bath water go?
  11. How do planes stay in the air?
  12. How do boats float?
  13. Where do babies come from?
  14. Why did you name me .....?
  15. What were you like as a child?
  16. Why should I eat brussel sprouts?
  17. How does a computer work?
  18. Why do people fart/burp?
  19. Where did I come from?
  20. Why is Grandpa bald?
  21. How is chocolate made?
So who's in?

I will work out how to use Linky Tools and we can start on 17th January.

Let me know if you are interested, if no one is keen to join in I will leave the linky off and just do it myself :D

      1. This is so cool. I love making up little lies, I mean stories for children. This is perhaps why none of my friends will leave their kids with me :-)

      2. Wow, interesting! I will love reading this *bookmarking right now*. But I am not sure if I can actually come up with something as I answer all questions my son has as honest as possible to encourage him to find answers and to teach him how to find answers (google, wikiüpdia, youtube). I love little funny stories but as I never tell them ... I will think about it.

      3. Thanks guys... I think it will be fun!

Varotica - I do believe in honesty when it comes to Monkey's questions but sometimes I wish I could make up some crazy answer and have him buy it... So this should be outlet enough for me... I hope :D

      4. I'd give a few of them a shot! Not super creative but willing to give it a go

      5. LatteJunkie, hope you did not get me wrong! I wasn't suggesting you would tell your kid some crazy story. I was just saying it might be hard for me to think that way as I am pretty much stuck on thinking how to answer honestly but kid-friendly at the same time :)

      6. Not at all Varotica - I was just hoping you wouldn't class me as a terrible parent :)

      7. I am not a judge. I am a sucker for learning about different life styles and life decisions without judging them - except for that special Mom next door of course. You know the one, the one you love to gossip about.
There is another idea for blogpost incoming here right now ... maybe a prompt-worthy one too! *grabbing my notepad* ... gotta go!
