Lyrical Sunday Wk5 - Monsters

In the dark

In the dark beneath my bed
a monster sits rubbing his head
with a giant paw, it is sore
he creeps slowly across the floor

I sit above him, high on my bed
I don't believe he's just in my head.
As he creeps, I wait once more
to whack his head and yell "Fore!"
